I knew I was going to love this one before it even started. With Lloyd
Kaufman's pitch to spot the pirate DVD of this enjoyable 35mm film.
Bashing the Chinese for their lead-based contaminated baby toys,
poisonous dog food and the funding for the Olympics credited to the sale
of the pirated Poultrygeist DVDs -actually producing quality material,
and better, as Lloyd states, before Troma did, made up names for
credits, own menus and design as well. Lloyd! ....I agree with you that
the president of this bootleg company commit suicide!....*wink *wink. I
have put a picture of the "ow lun don jhew hai" imitation for easy
identification. Definitely one of the top Troma movies: The Toxic
Avenger, Citizen Toxie and Tromeo and Juliet. And the feature hasnt even
started yet.
A totally ridiculous movie three years in the making and family savings gone to China. The charm of this movie is in the details....."Mexicans with no green cards"? and plenty of estereo-tipicos, easy plug-ins for characterization. This movie is just as enjoyable the 2nd and 3rd time around. Five times for me already. With plenty of gore and nudity (thank you Troma, I knew you wouldn't let me down). No holds barred on the insults to all watching beyond the first chapter. Had me shaking my head and funny bone all hour, forty two minutes and 50 seconds of it. Not a movie to watch with the kids, but it is, a hilarious and entertaining social satire "a la Troma" and a new challenger for the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Certainly an instant cult classic, and I know cult. Plenty of quotes and so many snap shots and not enough time. The best fun I've had with my clothes on in a while.

Oh yeah, and the zombies/chickens. The first zombie/chicken appearance sure was a memorable one. Then!! an absolute gore orgy unlike any I have ever seen (well, I lied, maybe in "Bone Sickness"), fried testicles and silicone boob fillers. And how do you kill these zombies/chickens? with BEER !!!
